1. Avoid fire: keep the pump ventilated during operation, keep the pump at least 1 meter away from the building wall or other equipment. Keep flammable materials away from the pump.
2. Do not touch the high temperature parts such as the muffler when the engine is working and at the beginning of the shutdown. Allow the engine and water pump to cool down before carrying or storing the water pump indoors.
3. Place the water pump on a firm, level place to prevent the pump from tipping or overturning and causing fuel spillage.
4. Please add gasoline when the engine is stopped and the ventilation is good. Do not allow gasoline to overflow the tank. If gasoline is accidentally spilled, wipe it dry immediately. After refueling, be sure to close and tighten the fuel cap.
5. Do not run the engine indoors or in a place with no ventilation. Because engine exhaust contains toxic carbon monoxide, it can cause unconsciousness or even death.
6. Do not let children and pets enter the working area of the pump to avoid injury.
7. Do not exceed the specified total lift. If the total head exceeds the maximum, the pump may overheat before the liquid enters the housing, damaging the seal. So try to use the shortest head possible.
8. Add water before each use. If you accidentally start the engine without adding water, stop it immediately and add water after the gasoline powered water pump cools down.
